What is included

• We walk the yard with you and mark out the size before anything is dug — a patio that is too small is the most common regret.
• Excavation, compacted base, and a slope of about a quarter inch per foot away from the house so it drains instead of ponding.
• Poured concrete with a broom or troweled finish, or pavers set on a screeded base with polymeric sand in the joints.
• Edge restraint on paver work so the outside course does not creep out over a few seasons.
• Tie-in to existing steps, walkway or slab so it does not read as an add-on.
• We build both kinds. Pavers if you want pattern and the option to lift a section later; poured concrete if you want the cleanest, cheapest square footage. We will tell you which one fits your yard and your budget.
